Sales Center Visit Experience

Most buyers focus on the location, building, amenities, and unit floorplans when considering a new condo purchase. What many have learned is that finding out the information you need can be made much easier (or more difficult) based on how well the sales center is organized and managed.

Did you feel wowed, pampered, and delighted by one particular sales center? Share your feedback and vote for your favorite sales center (even if you didn't end up buying, you're welcome to recognize a particularly satisfying visit).

out of those, i was treated the worst at Ava. its like they acted they were doing me a favor to speak to me.

the SLU discovery center has a weird vibe to it IMO

West Water in West Seattle was a pretty bad experience for me. I blogged on it yesterday, you can see it at www.theseattlespecialist.com.
Every time I have taken buyers to Mosler Lofts it has been a great experience. I get mixed reviews from my buyers at SLU but the feedback is more or less positive.

umm...excuse me Anon, but the AVA project does not yet have a sales center. I am told to expect their sales center by the first of the year.

I found the Mosler people to be like waiters at a restaurant that doesn't feel like they need to treat you nicely.

The Four Seasons people are like a restaurant where you can't get reservations.

The Escala people were pretty good. Parc was quite good too. In fact, there seems to be an inverse relationship between the interest in the building and the customer service from the sales centers.

...and this is where I say: "have you met Bill O'Brien? He is the one to talk to at the SLU Discovery Center. He is full of information and can answer any question you throw at him. (And no, I am not his mother) Check out the Discovery Center and see for yourself. Oh yah, and everyone else there has been great, too!

Wendy,

I am sorry you did not mention 5th and Madison in your poll, while Ava does not have sales center, we have had a beautiful 7,000 sq. ft space for a year and a half. I have seen you tour here.

Our property is now moving our first owners in...so all interested can experience the REAL thing! Our wood paneled and limestone floor lobby is sublimely furnished, very fitting for the urban setting.

Sorry about that Steve! That was an oversight on my part. I agree 5th and Madison has a great sales center.

Westwater in West Seattle was a very informative and educational experience. I did not feel pressured to buy and the agent gave me all the info i needed. I am very serious about buying there!

Westwater is by far the most pleasant visit I ever had. The agents are nice and informative. And they did a wonderful job educating me as a first time home buyer. They never pushed me to buy and I could go back several times and asked for more help. Personally I think the price is good for those units that have great views and for the beautiful finishes. I did the driving to downtown and it's only about 15 mins. I think I would give up the location of Belltown for the West Seattle location.
